In Sage X3, we may come across a scenario where we get “No tax determination rule applies” pop up message. To solve this error message follow the below steps:
Navigate to: Sales -> Orders -> Orders

Now, create the new sales order and in the product line set Tax Level 1 as “ECO” after doing this it will give the error below error message:

Before solving this, check the tax Rule (BP tax) which in the management tab and Product lines tax level in the sales order screen.
According to that define the tax in the Tax Determination screen by setting the same BP Tax rule and Product tax level which is on the sales order screen. Refer below screenshot:
Navigate to: Common data -> Common tables -> Taxes -> Tax determination

After doing this, it will allow creating the sales order with “ECO” tax level. Refer below screenshot:
