How to add a line to a menu in Sage X3

In Sage X3, you may come across a scenario where you want to add a line to an existing menu. You can achieve this using special function “Additm”.

This function “Additm” allows you to add a line to a menu bar. Using this function you can add one or more lines to an existing menu.

Syntax:

Additm line_id [,shortcut] Titled title_exp To menu_id At row_no.

Parameters

Element Description
line_id Whole number that identifies the new menu line
shortcut Whole number that identifies the combination of keys expressed in decimals
title_exp Alphanumeric expression of the box title
menu_id Whole number that identifies the main menu
row_no. Whole number that indicates the point of insertion of the menu into the main menu.

Examples:

Additm 20001 Titled “Ack Text” to 50001 at 10

Additm 20001 Titled “Invoice Text” to 50001 at 20
