While working on a project, we came across a situation where we wanted to run our code without making any entry on the screen. After looking at some validation screens of Sage ERP X3, we found one setting for creating a function without screen.
New Stuff:Change date format of the current folder in Sage ERP X3
Follow below instructions for the same:
- Create one action with Template as “Standard processing” which is used to identify the process to be launched on the execution of this action. In parameter definition, select First entry type as “No Initial Entry”.
- Add specific processing file for the logic to be executed after calling this action.
Below is the example.
- Add the above created Action in function.
- After doing menu validation, the above function will get added to Sage ERP X3 browser.
- Now just by clicking on the function, your logic will get processed through the action. For example here we are showing the message box.
